The final round of the dazzling and prestigious Miss Universe 2013 beauty contest takes place on November 9, 2013, at Crocus City Hall in Moscow.
For the first time ever, the Russian capital is hosting 87 of the most stunning and gorgeous women from all over the world.
Russia is represented by Miss Russia 2013 Elmira Abdrazakova, who was crowned the most beautiful woman in Russia earlier this year. Nineteen-year-old Elmira is a student at the Siberian State University of Railway Transport, majoring in crisis management. Her interests also include journalism and playing the piano.
The history of the Miss Universe contest dates back more than 60 years, to 1952. Fifty years later, in 2002, the title was won for the first time by a Russian contestant, Oksana Fedorova. Miss Universe 2012 is Olivia Culpo, from the United States.
The Miss Russia National Beauty Contest is the exclusive license holder of the Miss Universe contest in Russia, which allows Miss Russia to send its titleholder to compete in the Miss Universe contest every year.
