Merchant Ball at the A.A. Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Museum

December, 23 at the A.A. Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Museum three Christmas charity events for more than 70 children who recently found families took place.

Miss Russia gave the children the opportunity to become participants of the Merchant Ball, where they learned the traditions of preparing for the ball and the rules of etiquette, danced and tried on the masquerade attributes of the past, and watched the charming puppet show The Nutcracker. The special guest of the event was Miss Russia 2019 Alina Sanko, who taught the children how to create masquerade masks with their own hands and gave New Year's gifts.

Participants of the festive events in Alexei Bakhrushin’s old mansion became the wards of foundation “Arifmetika Dobra”, which was involved in distributing orphans in families and their adaptation.

It is the difficult and lengthy process requires a lot of work and attention, therefore, such children and new mothers and fathers especially need support. Moreover, most of the parents who came to these New Year's performances adopted up to four children.
