Miss Russia 2014 Julia Alipova joined “Total Dictation," the annual global competition with thousands of participants from 350 cities in 45 countries.

Miss Russia 2014 Julia Alipova, Miss Russia 2013 Elmira Abdrazakova and Miss Russia 2011 Natalia Gantimurova visited the annual Quiksilver New Star Camp, held on March 22-31 in Krasnaya Polyana, the 2014 Sochi Olympics ski resort.

On February 23, the Miss Russia 2014 contestants visited Nakhabino Western Military District and congratulated the troops on Defender of the Fatherland Day.

Final preparations for the Miss Russia 2014 competition are underway in Moscow. This week, dozens of contestants moved into the contest hotel to begin training for the final on March 1, at Barvikha Concert Hall.

The long-awaited Miss Universe 2013 Competition was held at Crocus City Hall in Moscow. The crown went to 25-year-old Gabriela Isler from Venezuela. Patricia Rodriguez from Spain and Constanza Baez from Ecuador were runner-ups. Elmira Abdrazakova, who represented Russia, unfortunately didn’t make it to the final Top 16.

Donald J. Trump and Paula M. Shugart, president of the Miss Universe Organization, announced the roster of celebrities and experts who will judge the 2013 MISS UNIVERSE Competition.

Miss Russia 2013 Elmira Abdrazakova arrived in Crowne Plaza hotel, where all the contestants of Miss Universe 2013 will stay and prepare for the final show scheduled for November 9th.

All three days Elmira spent in New York were filled with lots of business and social meetings. A famous American fashion designer Sherri Hill has found time to meet Elmira and choose the right dress for the final Miss Universe show, which will be held in Moscow on November 9th.
